It has been said that E.M Forster claimed his Novel to be a glimpse into the relationship between the
English and Indian people and just that. He claimed that the novel had no political influence or agenda. But the events, religious
and political, that took place during the ten years he took to create his masterpiece (published 1924) are evident within
